The exceptionally vast, 4,200-acre historic estate is an unmatched private resort featuring traditional and authentic “Casali” farmhouses and a boutique inn from the restored Castello.

Each Casale is being painstakingly restored to offer a collection of main home and outbuildings, which now serve as unique and inviting guest quarters. The article quotes LA resident Vera Campbell as saying "I knew what all the complications and costs could be on buying and maintaining a foreign property that would be sitting empty most of the time," said Campbell, so she considered the residence club a good option.

She paid $600,000 for a one-tenth share of one of the houses and is paying $15,000 in annual dues. This is guarantees at least four weeks a year in her 4,000-square-foot villa and full use of all amenities and includes "la dolce vita" for free.

To emphasize its credentials and appeal, the Castello picked up 3 Gold Awards for the ‘Best Development in Italy’, ‘Best Renovation’ and ‘Best Luxury Development’ at the Homes Overseas Awards. The awards were handed out at a dinner held earlier this month at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
