There are no translations available. Two destination clubs, Ultimate Escapes Holdings and Everlands have announced an exclusive agreement for all Everlands members, who will be offered the chance to sign up with Ultimate Escapes, under preferred membership terms. During the first quarter of this year, Everlands has been actively seeking a viable partnership agreement to benefit its members, after declaring its plans to end membership sales and its operations. This is mainly brought about by its failure to reach the target number of members due to the collapse of lehman it's principal lender and unfavorable economic trend. "We searched for a partner who had a proven and solid financial
track record, as well as an impressive management team in place, to
provide Everlands' members with a compelling offer for a comparable
lifetime of extraordinary club experiences," said Bob Burch, CEO of
Everlands. "With Everlands, we sought a way to share the world's finest
properties with like-minded people who have a love for family, a
passion for nature and the great outdoors, and who seek to experience
the many adventures that await each of us. We think we have been
successful in our search. I believe that Ultimate Escapes will be an
excellent home for Everlands members." "We are delighted to welcome Everlands members to Ultimate Escapes,"
said Jim Tousignant, CEO and president of Ultimate Escapes. "We are
offering very special membership values that will benefit Everlands
members as well as all stakeholders in Ultimate Escapes. The Everlands
tradition of conservation and environmental stewardship will also be an
inspiration to us as we continue to expand on our 'Smart Home / Green
Home' technologies, making an even stronger case for the sustainability
and eco-friendly nature of shared vacations in our club." Everlands members share the same enthusiasm that Ultimate Escapes
members have for unforgettable vacations in beautiful places. Everlands
offered extraordinary experiences to its members and investors in some
of the world's great properties, combining unique vacations with a
strong sense of environmental and ecological stewardship. Everlands
continually partnered with many of the world's most outstanding
conservation groups and individuals. In 2008, Everlands realized that
its operations would not be viable after its principal lender went out
of business. As such, the club and its management team sought to offer
its members the opportunity to join a leading destination club,
Ultimate Escapes, the premier destination club in the world with more
than 130 properties in 45 locations and more than 1,200 club members. As part of the strategic agreement, Everlands will also exclusively
share with Ultimate Escapes a database of more than 500 qualified
prospects who had expressed interest in Everlands club membership.
These prospects will be offered a special membership opportunity with
Ultimate Escapes. About Ultimate Escapes® Founded in 2004, Ultimate Escapes is the largest luxury destination
club as measured by number of club destinations, and the second-largest
destination club as measured by number of members. Ultimate Escapes
offers members flexible access to a growing collection of hundreds of
multi-million dollar private residences and luxury hotels in more than
150 global club and affiliate destinations. Locations range from chic
urban apartments to charming beach cottages, spacious five-bedroom
homes to an 80-foot private yacht. Each trip is coordinated by
experienced, knowledgeable staff, trained to handle every vacation
detail. Additional information about Ultimate Escapes and its club and

Re:Ultimate Escapes Announces Exclusive Agreement With the Everlands Club
Oct 23 2009 06:11:31 The folks at Ultimate Escapes have formed their club by acquiring other destination clubs. While this Everlands deal isn't an acquisition, it's certainly providing an exit path for the members of Everlands.
