The former Davis Cup Tennis player is planning a series of 20 resorts around the world, according to a report on a travel website.

Lloyd has already built and sold a series of health and fitness clubs and has several global property interests.

The report in APlaceInTheSun.com notes that prices will be in the £36,000 to £40,000 (US$60,000) range for one month of ownership per year, and the plan is to sell 11 months for each property, leaving one month for maintenance and flexibility.

The initial resorts are planned for St Lucia, Morocco, Dubai and Phuket, Thailand.

To be known as David LLoyd Resorts, the companies website is a little light on details at the moment, and simply lists the four initial locations, with a launch planned for early 2009.
