There are no translations available. Ultimate Escapes, one of the world's largest luxury destination clubs, announced the appointment of Robert Glinka as chief operating officer. Mr. Glinka has substantial management experience in the leisure, hospitality and resort business and served as a consultant to Ultimate Escapes since November 2009. "As a market leader in the luxury destination club industry, we are focused on continuing the growth of our business, delivering high quality member services and maintaining a high level of member satisfaction," said Jim Tousignant, president and chief executive officer of Ultimate Escapes. "We are very pleased to add Bob Glinka to our senior management team. Bob is a seasoned professional in the leisure, hospitality and resort industry and we expect that Bob's management, operational, planning and customer service skills will help us achieve our operational goals in 2010 and beyond. I'm thrilled to have Bob join the Ultimate Escapes team." Prior to joining Ultimate Escapes, Mr. Glinka served as chief executive officer of Areus Holdings, LLC a privately held business in the hotel segment of the hospitality industry, and previously served in a variety of capacities with Celebrity Resorts, a privately held vacation ownership company, including executive director of acquisitions & development and chief development officer. Prior to Celebrity Resorts, Mr. Glinka served as vice president of development for The Sol Melia Vacation Club and also held executive positions at vacation ownership industry leader Fairfield Resorts. Prior to Fairfield Resorts, Mr. Glinka worked for The Walt Disney Company for more than 20 years, serving in a variety of capacities within functional areas such as accounting, financial planning, business development and operations planning. Mr. Glinka holds a BSBA from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts and an MBA from the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business. Mr. Glinka is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the prestigious international honor society which recognizes business excellence.
