The Tidemark Resorts Residence Club, on Anna Maria Island Florida, was recently written up by the Sarasota Herald Tribune. The club has six two-bedroom and six three-bedroom residences in two buildings next to the Gulf of Mexico. Ownership is sold as one-eighth deeded shares in the fully furnished units, with prices starting at $190,000. Members have free use of the onsite marina and can use the nearby golf course at the neighboring Ritz Carlton. In the article, the developer talks about the flexibility that a fractional offers, saying "They can call us a month ahead of time, or an hour ahead of time, and just come," McNeil said. "We describe it more as being a member of a private club. You really forget about the deed, it's more about being a member here." Discuss the Tidemark Resorts Residence club, or fractionals generally in the forum.
