The American Affluence Research Center has published it Spring 2009 report "The Affluent Market for Vacation Homes". The report looks at full and fractional ownership and destination club memberships.

This is an extract from a speech made by the Premier of Bermuda, Dr. Ewart Brown, at the 13th Annual Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference in April 2009. He very much extols the virtues of fractionals and notes their positive effect on the Bermudan economy.

The recent "Portrait of Affluent Travellers" study included results on the familiarity, ownership and interest in private residence clubs and fractional ownership. The study by YPartnership surveyed 800 affluent travellers and also includes details on awareness and interest in timeshare.
